Mr Fuld is one of the key people said to have triggered the worst economic crisis the world has seen since the great depression in the 1930s.

Mas Selamat escaped from a detention centre in Whitley Road in February. A nationwide hunt was launched but the fugitive is still at large.

Retail tycoon triggers organ trading debate
CK Tang chairman Tang Wee Sung tried to buy a kidney from an Indonesian man for a transplant here. A new law to reimburse organ donors may take effect next year.

Singapore's top table tennis player Feng Tianwei and teammates Li Jiawei and Wang Yuegu won a team silver at the Beijing Olympics.
