Nth do so I tot of blogging abt this. Well, I got a news article abt the YOG (Youth Olympic Games) and decided to post abt it. ALTHOUGH I STILL HAVE FREAKING LOTS OF HMK HAVEN'T DO.

Well the news says tat

----- the YOG will mostly likely start in late July next year.
----- it will begin in Greece, travel to a city each in Africa, America, Asia, Europe and Oceania before coming to Singapore.
----- Although only five cities will host the YOG torch, the hope is tat all 205 National Olympic Committees will still be involved. Countries not hosting the torch will be invited to travel to the country in their continent.
----- A big party will be thrown in each host city, celebrating youth and the Olympic movement. Each city will also have a symbolic lighting of the cauldron ceremony.
----- Singapore will be the only leg to feature a relay involving Singaporeans and youths from Asean. They will embark on a relay round the island before the Games' cauldron at the Marina Bay Floating Platform is lit.
----- Flame will probably rach the Republic a week before the Aug 14 opening ceremony.
----- The number 2010 will figure in the relay. Ideas being studied include having 2,010 runners, or covering a distance of 2,010 km.
